Be on the Look Out
“If I must choose one thing that I see being impactful in the year to come is the need for better information. This is becoming more and more a critical part of the Oil & Gas industry. Regulators need quality information and it must be readily available. I have noticed how these documentation demands have impacted the way technical employees complete work. I believe if this is implemented properly it will have a positive effect on the management of assets and the reduction of incidents.”
Special Industry Note: Global gas demand is expected to grow by 1.6% a year for the next five years, with consumption reaching almost 4,000 billion cubic meters (bcm) by 2022. The United States is the world’s largest gas consumer and producer.
